Clean Show Report

The Clean Show in New Orleans has closed down and PONY’s expectations were fully met. 

Attendees had a chance to see the latest and most advanced laundry equipment on the market as displayed by exhibitors from all over the world.

Visitors to the PONY Booth showed great enthusiasm as they learned about new efficient equipment for their businesses. 

A sense of optimism was evident as plant owners talked of investing in their businesses for a future of higher quality finishing with more efficient and user friendly equipment. 

At the show, Pony officially launched its new venture, PONY USA, a partnership with an American company with over 30 years of industry experience. 

PONY USA plans to create a network of dealers across the country providing technical assistance and logistical support.

Machines and parts will be available in stock and ready to ship with expert sales assistance.

With PONY USA, distributors and customers can rely on a local organization directly supported by the factory. 

District Cleaners Equipment in Washington, DC is the first official distributor for Pony USA. 

They have already sold and installed many units to their satisfied customers across Maryland, Virginia and Washington.  

During the Show PONY introduced its brand new EAGLE shirt finisher.

With cutting edge technology and reduced energy consumption, while using minimum floor space, the EAGLE aims to become a new landmark for tensioning shirt finishers at a competitive price. 

The Eagle features the H.A.R.S. (Hot Air Recovery System), an efficient system to recapture air from the shoulder press and convey it through a special channel into the fan to speed the drying of the shirt.

As a result, the EAGLE is able to reduce energy consumption by 20 to 30%, with faster drying times and higher productivity. 

Additional features include Teflon coated press heads simultaneously pressing both the yoke and the cuff plackets; a brand new adjustable cuff clamp system with rotating rounded clamps; and a front horizontal sliding paddle with customizable main controls and regulating buttons. 

Energy savings, low noise, compact size, height adjustment and ease of use make the EAGLE the perfect partner for every launderer. 

Another highlight of the booth was the ANGEL single buck shirt press unit, which proudly displayed a hand painted American flag on its front panel to represent PONY’s new partnership in the United States. 

The team of PONY and PONY USA was overjoyed with the outcome of the Clean Show and we are all very much looking forward to Atlanta in 2015.
