HOST 2011

For this edition of Host, PONY will show a selection of machines which are particularly interesting for the market of OPL’s. The show floor will be functionally divided into different areas for different solutions. The first area will host machines that are specifically designed for wet-cleaned garments, the second area will be for presses (which represent a very important factor for OPL’s), while the third area will be dedicated to more versatile machines which are nonetheless interesting for OPL’s. Area 1 – wet cleaning What we offer with the first group of machines is a pneumatic form finisher with vertical and lateral tensioning of the garment (Formplus), suitable for finishing all kinds of coats. High finishing quality is guaranteed thanks to the special stretching of the garment, the over-heated steam (quantity, duration and temperature of which are adjustable) and a powerful hot-air flow (65°, adjustable) for a complete, quick drying of the garments. Thanks to a photocell, which reads the size of the garment, the dummy gets automatically in position to start the cycle. Now we also have available a fixed-dummy version and a more “evoluted” one called FORMPLUS-S, which will be on our stand, with pivoting dummy and side-vent clamps. All cycles are controlled by a PLC box with three modes: automatic, semi-automatic, and manual mode. Available option is an all-steam iron, for a perfect finishing process. For pants, PONY offers pneumatic topper mod. MPT-D, with pneumatic waistband and leg-stretching devices, suitable for all kinds of pants: classic or casual ones. Upon request it can be provided with a photocell which reads the end of the legs and automatically makes the leg-clamps close, thus starting the cycle. In addition to form finishers, at least one ironing table is necessary. With this the operator can bring the quality of the finishing to perfection or, as is the case with pants, she can fix the creases. PONY selected vacuum/blowing table mod. SILVER S. Thanks to its Maxi board it is the perfect solution for ironing pants. The operator can place the waistband on the larger side of the board and the whole leg on the wide surface of the table, thus being able to fix both creases of the leg without moving the garments, thereby reducing finishing time. WATCH THE VIDEO The blowing function allows the operator to iron very quickly and flawlessly on an air cushion, without leaving bright marks on the seams and the pockets, even on dark fabrics. This table is particularly recommended in the absence of a pants topper. Just like all PONY ironing tables, it can be equipped with extras for ironing sleeves and/or spotting, and it’s also available in a self-contained version. The use of a Colox Press, that we suggest with “utility” shape, allows the operator to finish all kinds of garments (from jackets, to pants, skirts,….) very quickly with a “pressed” effect, which is deeply appreciated by certain markets, especially outside Europe. Area 2 – Presses Still about presses, as we said above, they play a primary role in this market. Pony will show some of the LAV series, specifically developed for laundries, with various buck shapes: rectangular shape for white linens, mushroom shape, utility shape, Body Bosom (for the body of shirts), in addition to the collar-and-cuff press. Area 3 – Utility ironing Last but not least, on area 3, we will show a self-contained utility ironing table and a form finisher, that is to say the “basics” for a functional ironing work station, affordable at very low prices. The show floor will be completed with a spotting table and a few “low-cost” solutions for small businesses which anyway want to have quality products. As always, some machines will be up and running. Visitors will have to chance to try them and check out their main features. We will be waiting for you at booth U53 – Pav. 3.
