Digitalisation and innovation: the Lombardy Region’s support for PONY projects

PONY is continuing its journey of innovation and digital transformation thanks to the support of the Lombardy Region, as part of the 2021–2027 ERDF Regional Programme dedicated to the digital transition of Lombardy-based businesses. This initiative marks a significant step forward in the company’s technological evolution, aimed at streamlining processes, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing commercial management.

At the heart of the initiative is the development of a customised commercial configurator. Designed and implemented around PONY’s specific requirements, the project involved in-depth analysis, careful design, and structured development, with the active involvement of multiple company departments.

The configurator is a complex, strategic project whose primary objective is to significantly simplify machine identification and the management of quotation and order entry processes.
